ROSSLAND ZERO WASTE CO-OP

Hello and welcome to the Rossland Zero Waste Co-op webpage. We are a small, diverse and growing group of community members in Rossland, British Columbia Canada who are working co-operatively to reduce waste in our community and are particularly concerned about the world’s plastic problem and trying to make a difference.

INITIATIVES

Bulk Dairy:

We buy dairy in bulk from Jerseyland Organics reducing plastic waste associated with cheese wrappings and small yogurt containers. To find out more or become a member contact Craig at s.craig.delong@gmail.com . $20 fee applies after 2nd order.

Together we are:

  • Supporting new and existing initiatives aimed at reducing all waste, but in particular plastics.
  • Finding ways to shop, consume and live with less waste.
  • Providing inspiration and raising awareness about the zero-waste movement.
  • Making sure that as much of the waste we do produce is actually recycled.

Sound like fun? We think so, and hope you will join us. Become a member today!
