Rossland Refactory – local plastics recycling from waste to products in Rossland/Trail area
NEW INITIATIVES
Indoor Food Production – growing plants, fish, and mushrooms in a closed loop system using available space in local buildings or shipping container(s)
Earth Box Gardening – growing vegetables in Earth Boxes (https://library.uniteddiversity.coop/Food/How_to_Self-watering_Container.pdf) on deck space within the community for local food banks
Ship Share – like Ride Share connecting commuters with local producers within the West Kootenays eliminating supply chain green house gas emissions.
